Witiko and the Little
Person
One day when some people were at their camp site. They heard a
Witigo scream, then all of a sudden a Memekwisew (Little Person) appeared
from the woods.
He had a knife and a bow. He stretched the knife and it got longer. The people were scared as they listened to the Witigo's terrible screams. The Memekwisew used the knife as an arrow, he shot at the Witigo and he killed it.
The birds started singing loudly. They were happy that the Witigo was dead.
